Naoussa (ελλ. Νάουσα) 

At the foot of the eastern Mount Vermio in a natural embrace, formed by successive levels that descend gradually to the plain, is built Naoussa, dominating from an average altitude of 330 m. by the sea all over the fertile plain of Imathia extending to Thessaloniki.

The Vermio mountain, which is the natural boundary between the plain Imathias Thessaloniki to the east, and the highlands of Kozani to the west, leaving mandatory minimum crossings, on which are the most important cities of the region: Veria, capital of Imathia to the south, in the center Naoussa and Edessa, the capital of Pella to the north.
